She starts to believe Adrian, who was supposed to be some sort of scientific genius, is still trying to control her. She believes she’s finally free when she learns he’s committed suicide, but soon that feeling of being watched comes back. The movie starts with her gathering the courage to escape and she does, but she can’t shake the feeling that he is still watching her.
